There are close to 2,400 members and 100 clubs in Nova Scotia. More than 80 countries worldwide have 4-H clubs.

4-H leaders are volunteers. Some friends of 4-H are: civic and business groups, industry and the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture (NSDA). NSDA administers the 4-H program in conjunction with the NS 4-H Council. For more information on how to become a 4-H'er contact a NSDA office in Nova Scotia.
